How Noussouki Travel Simplifies Your Omra Journey
Performing Umrah from Canada involves dozens of logistical steps: visa applications, flight bookings, hotel reservations, ground transportation, learning the rites, and navigating a foreign country. At Noussouki Travel, we handle every detail so you can focus on what matters: your worship. Here is exactly how we simplify your Umrah journey.
Visa and documentation
The Saudi e-visa system (Nusuk platform) has simplified the process, but it still requires correct documentation, photo specifications, vaccination records and sometimes additional paperwork depending on your nationality or age. We handle the entire visa application process: we verify your documents, submit the application, track the status and deliver your approved visa before departure.
For Canadian passport holders, the e-visa is typically approved within 24-72 hours. For permanent residents holding other passports, processing times vary (some nationalities require a letter of invitation from a Saudi sponsor). We know the requirements for every nationality and handle edge cases that would confuse a first-time applicant.
Flights and transfers
We book flights from Montreal or Toronto on the best routes: Saudia (direct to Jeddah), Turkish Airlines (via Istanbul), Emirates (via Dubai), Qatar Airways (via Doha) or Royal Jordanian (via Amman). We negotiate group rates when available and monitor prices to book at the optimal moment. All flights include checked luggage, meals and seat selection.
Airport transfers are included in every package: a driver meets you at Jeddah airport with a sign bearing your name, drives you directly to your hotel in Mecca (1h15) or Medina (4h30 or 2h15 by train), and handles your luggage. No haggling with taxi drivers, no navigating an unfamiliar city at 2 AM after a 15-hour flight.
Hotels close to the Haram
Hotel proximity to the Haram is the single most important factor in Umrah comfort. Walking 20 minutes five times a day for prayers (plus Tawaf, Sa'i and visits) adds up to hours of unnecessary fatigue. Our hotels are located within 200-500 metres of the Haram in both Mecca and Medina. We inspect hotels personally and maintain relationships with management to ensure quality.
Our packages range from budget (3-star, 500m) to comfort (4-star, 200m) to premium (5-star, direct Haram view). All include breakfast, Wi-Fi, air conditioning and daily housekeeping. Family rooms, connecting rooms and accessible rooms are available on request.
Guided rites and spiritual support
A francophone guide accompanies every group. Before departure, we provide a detailed Umrah preparation guide (rites, supplications, practical tips). On arrival, the guide leads the group through each step: Ihram, Tawaf, Sa'i, and the visit to Medina. The Hisn al-Muslim supplications are shared in both Arabic and transliteration.
For first-time pilgrims, this guidance is invaluable. For experienced pilgrims, the logistics support frees them to focus on additional worship (extra Tawaf, I'tikaf, Quran reading). Our guides are available 24/7 for questions, emergencies or simply companionship.
24/7 support and peace of mind
Lost luggage, medical emergency, flight cancellation, hotel issue: we handle it. Our coordination team (based in Montreal and on the ground in Saudi Arabia) is reachable by phone, WhatsApp and email around the clock. Travel insurance is included in every package. We have partnerships with local hospitals and pharmacies near the Haram.
